Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out!

Fireworms are pretty bad if you touch them and get the needles stuck in your fingers. I consider a flatworm infestation worse as well. As a matter of fact, I don't consider bristle worms bad for a reef tank, as long as they don't get out of control.

Right, Gary said that he found a nice size one and removed it recently. I haven't seen anything too exciting bristleworm-wise that would cause a panic.

It was a big sucker - had to be 10 - 12 inches long.

Somewhere someone had posted a link to a site that told stories about worms. To make a long story short they guy had somethihng like a 18 foot worm in his huge tank.

that is a big worm indeed...but really how do you notnotice it...I know it was living in the PVC but cmon now..don't you watch your tanks at night?

Funny how things change with time. 15 years ago Bristol Worms were considered the spawn of Satan , I freaked when I saw one in my tank a couple months ago, until I found out we now like them.
