Good critter.

Good to see you QT what you dont know till you find out.

My policy is "when in doubt, chuck it out". To much time and money invested to play a guessing game.

Nativevaman is right as usual - Asterina star is almost positively what it is and if it was on your glass it probably was chowing on algae + in any case - ok.
Just in case - FYI - If any hang around your coral - you prob. should get rid of them as they probably are the type that chomp coral.
You probably have the glass crawlers and they multiply + don't worry - are ok.
