| Are you talking about the purple or brown? purple would be corraline algae=good brown would be diatoms. If its the brown, get a little more flow and make sure everything has been cycled properly.

| what would bright green algae be? Do u know the name for the red branch and the flap like, tan or yellow plant Do I have coral, if so what kind? thanks |

| The red branch almost looks like a gorgonian....which is good. Read up about the red gorgonians. I could be wrong, but I think they are photosynthetic. Does it have white or brown polyps? which pic has the tan or yellow plant?

I tried to put things in the middle, to help you understand what I'm asking about. 1 http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...1/DSC03893.jpg 2 http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...1/DSC03895.jpg 3 http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...1/DSC03896.jpg 4 http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...1/DSC03902.jpg Algea Attack 5 http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...1/DSC03835.jpg In the middle, is it the same as the coral my son has? 6 http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...1/DSC03876.jpg What my son has; 7 http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...1/DSC03877.jpg 8 http://i238.photobucket.com/albums/f...1/DSC03879.jpg |
