Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out!

found this last night and before for the last few weeks there has been a blue hermit gaurding this rock right on top of it.

Looks like a patch of snail eggs, I have similar on my glass in 3 places.

I jumped around on google last night and thought it was tunicates of some sort. Not sure though. Couldnt find a pic to match but there are hundreds of type of tunicates.

sorry, I have never saw this. I am sure someone will know, it looks kinda cool though, hopefully it is nothing that will harm the tank.
