Identification What in the heck is growing on my glass, corals, etc. Not sure what it is? Post here and we'll see if we can figure it out!

Is this a small ricordea?

Its got a red center and white/clear outside it is almost dead center in both photos

the pictures are way too bright and i dont see anything specific to look at. ricordia is pretty obvious if you do have it...more pics please

No the camera I have doesn't have macro setting its a cheap one.

But that is excatly what it is. Thanks for identifing it for me. Is yours doing ok and not disturbing any of the corals? How fast are yours growing?

Yeah I looked at the link it is basically the exact same color and almost the same size as the ones pictured on your mushroom covered rock

i lost one of mine, still have the other, hope they reproduce. try spotfeeding him brine, they are ravenouse eaters. you'll love it, i read up on them, yours seems to be in the open. he needs shade from the source i found. warn ya ahead, some say they spread like aptasia but i think it was a confusion in identification that got that started. g/l on him if ya do keep it and if you don't want it i'm sure there are plenty ready to take it off your hands.

Nah I definitely am going to keep it. I turned the the rock a bit so that it is not recieving as much direct light. It is openning nicely.
