| hard to tell from the pic... at first i thought it was a chiton(potato bug looking critter), i have them in the crushed coral along the glass. then i thought, maybe its some type of sponge...is it growing from what you can tell or move at all? if you can get a better pic that isnt so blurry it might help. steve

| Thank you for replying. It doesn't move. It's grounded there. It looks like a sac of some sort. I will try to get a better picture of it, but its hard because of where it is located ![]() Thanks so much!!! ![]() |

| I remember shrimps dont lay eggs. the female holds the eggs until they hatch.

| then does anyone know what this would be? it's crucial, because if it's a good thing, we want to keep it. if its bad, we want to get rid of it thanks |

| My best guess is that they are eggs. from nudibranch or snails.

| i have no idea... but i want to know now. i thought to begin with they might be seasquits. i had some and they were identified as s.s. but they look flat or platelike, mine are nearly round. try researching tunicate or seasquirt but those look like eggs to me

| Well we did find out what it is. I don't know how many of you got to experience ICH in your tank (I'm sure many), but we witnessed their "egg" stage. Flat discs w/ little critters inside ARE ICH. It's really depressing really, because they were left in the tank for so long, in hope they were something beneficial. SO...if you ever see them in your tank, get them out immediately Thanks everyone though, for trying |
