anyone ID this guy? he was on my overflow, i assume munching on algae. so i hope he's a good guy, but i can't find a match...

Could you roll it over and take a pic so we can see the opening in the shell?

Looks like a pyramidellid Snail to me.

If you google and search and determine it is a pyramidellid....I would smash it.

Then start combing your tank for more. They usually are in numbers.

This is one of the worst enimies for the giant clams!

if it's a pyr. i'm a lil suprised.. it was on the overflow eating algae, i have no clams. haven't seen any on my snails... just seems odd

My ID is not absolute 100%. Imo It really looks like one. I thought if you did some googling maybe that would give a good direction to look in. Id PM Coral Geek for a positive ID. Hes pretty good at this ID thing even though he doesnt post here much.
