Can't see it well enough. Could be a sponge.

Tough to tell from the pic, but it looks to be a good filter feeding sponge to me.

Hey guys,

I just wanted to show you a picture of my hammer coral. He is doing wonderful in its new home. He looks much better than when I bought his a few days ago.

The sponge seems to like hanging around and he is not harming my coral in anyway. So, I'm just going to let it be. Plus, he will help absorb some silicates.

If you guys have any suggestion on how to take care of my hammer coral, please feel free to let me know.

I done some research but in this hobby you always find new things everyday, especially when you are a novice reefer.

Thanks and enjoy my picture!
