I think Majano. Majano=bad.... When in doubt, pull it out! ![]()

I would go with you guys except for his statement "do have little feather duster feathers come out of the tubes". If you blow up one of his pics, you can actually see the feather duster like ends on some of the. I have not seen a majano that has that feature before.

Wow, up to you of course but I would let it be for a while and see what develops. If it is colonial hydroids may just go away with time. These things wax and wane according to the nutrient level in our tanks. JMO

Those are indeed hydroids, have had them on frags of coral I have bought from a certain LFS. They quickly spread across the LR and onto the substrate.... He ended up restarting that tank from scratch... Luckily, the bit that came on my frags (they were 5 dollars, couldnt pass it up), has not spread at all, maybe a little growth but thats about it. I'm sure proper water params have something to do with it. Just keep an eye on it... if it starts to grow, pull the rock out and nuke it.

Im sorry I forgot to post back but +1 for chad and spanko. Hydroids that are in the larvae stage before they become free floating. +1 for chads prognosis! Nuke the suckers! And be careful doing it!
