Default Must be common but...

Again its too smal for me to get a picture. Sorry. I will describe it but if ya dont know its no biggie either Im just curious.
Basically it looks like a small spiderweb forming a bowl shape. It has thicker arcs with thinner ones between them. About a 1/8th inch tall and about 3/16 ths across.
Thanks for any help no worries if cant identify, they seem to be in a few places and dont seem to be harming anything.

Sounds like a feather duster worm.

It looks alot like the top of it but there is no stalk or tube. Are the stalks sometimes buried? I have other tubes growing that show no sign of the "umbrella" yet but they are getting bigger. And the thing is clear, white no color at all. Thanks though, if thats what it is then great

Yup, they can be burried in a crevace of the rock, perhaps in the sand, or in a small hole in the rock. There are many different varieties of feather susters ranging from the small kind, all the way to types that can get 9" across!
