Icon5 Pulling The Trigger

(disclaimer- I am almost completely ignorant to anything involving keeping organisms alive in a saltwater environment.)
But I'm determined to learn. Nevertheless, I'll post this in hopes of good advice)

Hello All,
I was introduced to reef tanks a couple of months ago buy a friend. It intrigued me so much that I couldn't stop thinking about it. Every week I would find a new excuse not to go to the library or not do a google search. (it cost too much, it involves too much time, I've never even seen one besides in fish/pet stores.)
Well this week a coworker needed a 30 gallon tank and stand out of his house. I told him I would take it off his hands and once I got it to my house the first word I thought of was refugium. The second thing I thought was "hell, I barely know what a damn refugium is." So I figured it was time for me to completely submerse myself in the whole saltwater experience. Worst case scenario is I become a little bit more educated in the subject and I have a excellent conversation starter I could use at the bar when I'm out trying to hit on women older than me.
So I'll be reading for a while and if you guys have anything else besides this site that you think I should read, google, youtube or anything else, please feel free to let me know.

Thank you.
