Default New Here.... Refugium Question

ok so i had a nano cube didn't maintain it well for the two years i had it, got bored with the size, inherited a 46 bow 36" PC lighting SeaClone protien Skimmer. Now that the tank has only 15lbs of live rock in it, another 40 has been ordered, along with just 15lbs of live sand to coat the bottom, and is runnong with a damsel to cycle it, i was wondering anyones opinion on the CPR Aquafuge 2 HOB refugium. i hate the syphon thing but i do know that the bigger the refugium is the more effective. i was wondering if a 2.5gal Refugium would be worth doing, but then again every little bit has to count for something right?

Do you have any room for a sump/refuge section? That would the ideal way to go.

go with the siphon not as pretty but that would be the only equipment seen once you have the sump set up.
