Default Blue hippo Tang

Hi everyone!! I have a question about putting one of these fish in a 29 gallon OBC. My son is 5 and loves all the fish from finding nemo but some fish store clerks are telling me that this fish would get way to big for this size tank?? I did find one about 1.5 to 2 inchs in size and one of the lfs people are holding it for me till friday when I get paid.. Is this a bad fish to buy for this tank? Or will it be alright? Also just to let everyone know I cut back on the lights and did a 20% water change and also scubbed my life rock with a soft tooth brush to keep down the algae. Also I bought some emerald crabs, sand sifting snails, and some turbo snails so far every thing is looking really good(amazing how good these snails are) Well thanks for the help everyone

Welcome to RB

I'd advise against any tang in the 29gallon. They just get to big and it stresses em out...

Default Tang

Thanks for the advise Krazy K, I will stay away from the tang and spend my money on something else for the tank.
