What is your tank’s description, ie. Size, type, age, general set up, filtration, lighting, stocking? The best luck I have had is using a good quality water source, RO/DI, and a macro algae filled refugium to consume nitrates and phosphates.

Posting as much detail about your tank setup: equipment, LR amount, LS depth, tank age, test results, lighting type and bulb age, feeding details (amount, type, and how often), etc... will go a long way toward figuring out how to get rid of the algae.
