| Hello Jeanne, and welcome to the reef! If you are seeking out information, aid and assistance then you have come to the right place. Aquarists from every level are members here, so you won't find a shortage of experience. The main reason we log on everyday is to help others out with their problems, and give to encouragement to those who have worked hard enough to earn it.. Anyways, sounds like a nice tank you have set up! RB is addicted to pictures! We would love to see some stock shots whenever you have time.. Then as the tank matures and progresses, we can all enjoy the difference! Welcome to ReefBuilders! Best of luck to you and your aquarium for the years to come!

| Haha its not a problem.. Heres a how-to for you..! (May seem complicated, but its really not at all.. and they load faster than Photobucket's do..) To post a picture on a thread do as follows: (File must be smaller than 1.53MB and can be jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, tif, tiff, or pdf file format.) 1. Save picture file to your HDD. 2. Open your browser and go to: ImageShack® - Image Hosting 3. On the top right click "Choose file" and find the picture on your HDD to be uploaded (hosted.) 4. Go down a little and check the box "resize image?" then select your resolution that you would prefer (640x480 and larger is recommended.) 5. Then click "Host it!" (In a few seconds a new page will appear with multiple thumbnail code URL's.) 6. Scroll about halfway down (under the advertisements) and uncheck the box "Include details" 7. Then just below that box there is the thumbnail code for "Hotlink for forums (1)" click that line and press Ctrl+C (to copy that code.) 8. Next, just go back to the thread you are posting on and in the message box (wherever you want the picture to go in the text) press Ctrl+V (to paste the code.) There you have it! Hosted pictures without having to "attach files" on here!

| Thanks for your nice comments about my tank Martin! Still trying to "purple up" so to speak. I'd appreciate any comments about how to do this. My tank parameters are all good. I use API reef test. My results show PH 8.2 nitrate 0 ammonia 0 K H 10 Calcium 410. Ammonia 0. I do have some bad algae that I have restled with better now that I have Toro (lawnmower Blennie) I do over feed the corals so am cutting that down. Any thoughts would be welcome and thanks. |

| Hello Jeanne, welcome to the world of wonder! Say, I/we would like to see a pic or two of the whole tank. The ones you posted were great, however, we can't get the idea of what you have. How are you keeping the mandarin alive? What are you feeding, out of curiosity?

| Tony and Leon Thanx for responding! Sorry I havent posted new pics yet. Been too busy with life and death unfortunately. G ood friend's mom passed away. Thanks for your interest in my Mandarin, "Mandy" She is so wonderful. I set up my tank about 6 months ago with live rock snd arogonite. Let it sit for a month, then added a green metalic mushroom and a clown, Mandy and a Cardinal. They all got along great except the clown died after 6 weeks, the cardinal after 2 months(think he didn't eat) Mandy eats the copepods that are in the tank. I have put more in for her that I ordered from LFS She has also eaten algae from a clip that I put in for the Lawnmower Blennie. My current Clown Ive had for 4 months. They really are facinating. I do recommend a Mandarin to you if you have live rock! I will get to the pics also but may have to wait till after vacation Again thanx Jeanne |
