Default Need help with Sump/Overflow/Return!!

Hi - New here! Hoping someone can help me with part issues for an overflow box and the return on a 25 gal sump I got off of craigslist.
The overflow is missing the acrylic piece that covers the water going from the tank to the box ("U" shaped? There is a dark acrylic surface skimmer box and the rear box with the pump rated 600gph.
The return pump is a Rio 2500HP pump with a 3/4 inch return hole. The sump return bulkhead doesn't look as if it ever been plumbed. I am thinking the guy just put the Rio in the return area of the tank and connected his return tubing to it back into the tank.
Can anyone show me where I can find some good diagrams of sumps/overflos/returns so I can solve this problem myself without just buying a new overflow.
P.S. The pums all work fine and the sump is good, just needs to be cleaned out a little.

Thanks in Advance for your advice!!!
