Default Hi from Peoria. Newby starting my first reef tank

Hi, I'm Allen and I am starting my first reef mixed tank. I went to a FragFest in Bloomington last weekend and fell in love with corals, sponges, and stuff. I will have a few fish but I'm most interested in the coral side of this hobby. I will have many questions so I hope I won't be a pest. I can't wait to get started but I know to go slow. I'm glad to be here. Hope to hear from many of you soon.

Welcome to the reef Allen!

Like Cary said, don't hesitate to ask anything that may come to mind. We all help each other around here, sometimes even the veterans need some advice.

Welcome to RB Allen. As a help hint to get you going on the right foot, prior to purchasing corals, do as much research as you can and then upgrade any equipment that is necessary before jumping into purchasing corals. Keep in mind that different types of corals have different needs with water quality, lighting intensity, etc...
