Welcome to reef builders for starters

I have both a yellow tang and a mated pair of coral banded shrimps..

They get along great, once and a while the yellow tang has to put his nose in there business and they snip at the tang but other then that they are fine with there own spaces...

How big is your tank ?

keith, in your opinion, what kind of lighting do you think is the best for a 55 fish only tank?I have two 48" bulbs- one is a 20k coralife- the other is a standard aquarium day light. hottuna

for a fish only tank with live rock, your standard power compact fixture is just fine... you want a lil something so your live rock will look nice and purple, the power compacts will do that for ya, I dont think it will happen with standard lighting...
