Just stopped by to say Hi. I am looking to start a salt water tank. I am facinated with coral and the colors of Salt Water Fish. Am I making a mistake by thinking I can reuse some of my Fresh Water equipment?

Welcome to RB!

Not at all, you can use your freshwater equipment, it just depends which equipment.

Tank, heaters, stand, and sometimes even lighting are all reusable! You won't regret the move (but your wallet might)!

I would never setup another freshwater tank, check the equipment you have, alot of it may be useful in setting up a saltwater tank (compare notes).
