 Another Newbe Just stopped by to say Hi. I am looking to start a salt water tank. I am facinated with coral and the colors of Salt Water Fish. Am I making a mistake by thinking I can reuse some of my Fresh Water equipment?  |

| Welcome to RB! Not at all, you can use your freshwater equipment, it just depends which equipment. |

| Tank, heaters, stand, and sometimes even lighting are all reusable! You won't regret the move (but your wallet might)! |

| I would never setup another freshwater tank, check the equipment you have, alot of it may be useful in setting up a saltwater tank (compare notes). |

| I reused my freshwater equipment it works fine and the tank looks good
