Another newbie here..

Well, I stumbled across this site and was really interested in what it had to offer. I am really interested in starting a S.W. aquarium and have done some research, but would really love someone with on hand experience that can help out with a direction, upkeep, materials, and whatever else I may come across in my venture. I would really love to be successful so the animals I choose to keep do not suffer from my inexperience. So, i'm filling myself full of as much knowledge as I can keep and hopefully this great site can help with those things you can only learn from experience.

Thank you.

Thanks. I'm still in the deciding phases of my project. What size, location, type of fish or reef:confused: . I don't want to start out to big. But from what i've read, smaller can be more difficult. So, i'm debating between a 50~75 gallon to start.

Hey! That is the most fun part! Planning all the new things that you would love to try to do! Hope that we can help when you have questions! About your debate, it is always best with Saltwater Tanks to go for the biggest you can afford and can fit in your space. The more water that you have the less it changes over time (or slower at least) so there isn't a huge jump in Ammonia or Nitrates in your tank very quickly.

Yes, I have to agree, i've been waiting to start an aquarium for so long, but have not had the space, but we now do, and my idea of an aquarium has resurfaced, so i'm so excited to make way. Saw that contest that RB is offering and definetally had to enter. That's a nice aquarium set up they are giving away. ~Jen~
