 New member, hello everyone :) To anyone who reads this hello. I currently have 4 slt water tanks- 55,37,10 & 5 gallons. I had a 55 go completely south about a month ago with 5 frogfish in it. It devestated my wife and I, it wqasa like someone in our family died. We can barely go in the room the tank was in. Now for the question of the day...... If anyone knows how to recondition liverock to reinsert it into another tank or the same one now that I have completely shut it down and sterilized it my liverock has been sitting in my garage drying out for a month. Is it safe to put it back in anything or am I S.O.L. ????? A response from anyone with knowledge on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank You  |

| Re: New member, hello everyone :) Welcome to RB, Kevin! Be sure to completely scrub the rock & rinse it off. You can repopulate it with bacteria by putting it in a tank that has LR in it. It takes about 6 months.
