Default Responsible harvesting

High, I'm Doug. Kept marine tanks for years until I started scuba diving and became aware of the irresponsible manner in which most marine life is harvested: dynamite, cyanide, destruction of healthy coral formations, etc.

Time has passed and I do miss the hobby. I've heard (via the Shedd aquarium in Chicago) that there are companies that harvest marinelife in way that are not damaging to the enviornment, habitats or sustainable biomass.

Do any of you know of such companies, could you provide contact information? The retailers in my area are very vague and, therefore, not very trustworthy in my opinion.

Thx.

Responsible harvesting is great. How much of a typical salt water tank life is harvested v. grown from other tanks?
