 greetings from sunny fla. i just started in the hobby about 6 weeks ago. I have 55gallon tank and i just added more lights. i now have a brownish alge growing on some of my rocks and back wall. is this good or bad and what the heck is it?  |

I have 4 turbo snails & 2 blue leg hermits & they seem to be slowly eating it,what ever that brown alge is it seems to only grow on the non living objects.(glass & dead rocks,etc.)I live on the east coast of fla,vero beach(zero beach)so i do alot of diving and i really want to make a nice reef tank. Don't worry i never take anything out of the ocean or reefs(only pics) i want my kids to see it and enjoy it when the grow up! As soon as i get more pics i'll post them. |
