best advice i can give is this go large, i setup a 55 as well and i love my tank but i have to now upgrade because everything is growing so fast. bigger is better in the salt water world for many reasons, unfortunately it costs more as well. Hope it helps.

Welcome to RB
The best advice i can give is buy a few books and surf the internet before starting your saltwater reef and read ,read, read !!.There are many things you need to know but the right advice can get you going in the right direction from the start .If you have a good marine shop(local fish store) that deal in marine fish go down there and have a chat with them and they should be able to point you in the right dirction too and may seem a little clearer than reading books with different kinds of advice. Also any questions you have trouble with get posting on here and we will be there to help
Good luck
Ollie
