 Just saying hello I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm 23, and have had a 40 gallon salt water tank just long enough for the cycling to be over. All the tank has in it right now are four damsels and about fifteen pounds of live rock. I used live sand for the medium. I placed a hermit crab in the tank about a week ago to see if the water has been cycled enough to support other types of fish and so far the hermit has done just fine. I am completely new to salt water aquariums, but they fascinate me. I would love to hear any advice on all aspects of salt water aquariums. Most of what I know I have learned from the guys at the local pet store and from researching online. Thanks for having me  |

| Re: Just saying hello Justin, welcome to RB! The best advice is to have a lot of patience, and research everything before you add it to your tank. The people on this board are very good with help and advice. Welcome!
