Default I shoulda hada marine tank!!!

Hello all from Washington state!
I got a 55 gal hex from a friend who had it set up with LR, LS, coral and some fish. he upgraded to a bigger tank in which he kept all contents of the tank. I got the tank, MH light, CPR protien skimmer and three power heads and a Fluval 404 canister filter. I have always wanted a marine tank but was afraid to take the plunge. All of my experience is freshwater so my two young sons and I now have a three week old freshwater tank that is cycling. While at my LFS i was drawn to the saltwater tanks and decided on doing my own research when i came across ReefBuilders. WOW this place has so many great people with lots of information. I now regret going freshwater. my sons and i are now planning a saltwater tank in the near future.
i spend approx one hour a night reading threads and really appreciate all the wisdom and experience this place provides.

I haven't been at this long and I have learned a lot from this site. It should be a fun (and educational) project for you and you sons.
