Nice to be here Hello all my name is Anthony and I'm just getting back into fish after having my fresh water 20 gal high tank broken 1 1/2 years ago. Sadly none of the fish survived. Now I want to start over...but I want to start slow. Don't get me wrong I'd love to have a 40+ gal bow front however I don't have the money or in my estimation the experience to own such a tank. I've decided to go with a nano tank the one I've seen that makes the most sense for me is the AquaPod 24 gal HQI. I've also ordered a few books from amazon.com and I live within walking distance of one of the best Aquatic stores in all of Rhode Island. I'm really excited about getting started again and I'm sure like most of you want everything to go perfect the first time out. I know it takes allot of research and patience but I believe that I'm ready for it.
Would love to hear what are absolute no-no's and what is OK. I'm not planning on getting the tank for at least another month or two but I want to do all my research now so I don't get bogged down with school work and this. Should I start off with Coral? What kind of community fish do I get? Is Aquapod even a good brand? I have millions of questions (ok more like a couple dozen) and can't wait to be around like minded people here. Can't wait to hear from you all. |
