Default Fng

Well, here I am. I've been running freshwater tanks for several years now and want to get into the marine end of it. I'm going to convert my 135. I figure if I'm going in I might as well go big. Just starting to buy all the goodies I'm going to need. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.
For me, I'm 32, living near Denver. I'm engaged to a gal that has two little girls. We're doing ok here as a new family. I'm an ex-cop that tried to go into the USMC's OCS program, but I tore an ACL so they didn't want me. Now I'm a salesman. Ugh. But it pays the bills. I guess that's about it.

I work over at American Furniture on 84th. It's not a great job but it pays the bills.

Default Feeding the Monkey

paying the bills and eating is always a drag to have to pay for. I have a wife, an 18 mo old son and one in the oven due to come in July. I live in Highlands Ranch ( in the normal people section, AKA no mountain view).
I am starting a 180 gallon setup built in to the wall. it should be quite the setup when its done. When I sell the house its staying with the house. If all goes well i'll buy a bigger tank at the next place. but that will be a few years until that happens. Hey, Have you had any problems keeping the kids out of the tank?
Keep on kicking..

Default Kids

It's tough when you have a job that you don't really enjoy but pays well. I can't complain. At least I'm employed. The kids are good about staying out of the tanks. When we first started keeping the tanks they would get into them every now and again. But they figured out that getting into the tank got them a spanking, so that stopped quick. The girls are actually really well behaved compared to some. So far I've been pretty lucky in life.
