| hello everyone MY name is Chrissy, And I've just started a reef tank. It's been running for 2 weeks now. I want to add more fish to my 20 gallon, but I have some unknown thing growing. I was hopin to get some help. I have live rock and sand in the tank as well as a damsel. There is some strange plant looking thing growing through the sand and up the walls of the tank. It will dissappear for a couple of hours then it comes back. I took a sample of it to the fish store and the guy didn't know what it was and has never seen anything like it before. | jsut a guess but it sounds as if you have an annenome of sorts not too much moves and looks planty with out pics or at least a strong description can't say for sure
