Tina,
You are brave to have a "new tank" on display in the office. How is it doing? I started two years ago with a 29 gallon (in my bedroom) hidden from public scrutiny because of salt creep, brown slime algae, green algae infested walls, messy cleanups,

etc.
Then after a year, of practice, I thought, YEAH, I can do this.
I transferred to a 65 gal. in our family fireplace room. Now after I got all the experimenting down, I can proudly display it with a certain amount of confidence that it won't crash and be an eye sore to everyone. I was not as brave as you. GO GIRL!:
My main idea on improving is to get the best equipment that you can, like good lighting, submersible thermometer, a canister filter, etc.
Welcome to the forums,
