Default My scarlet hermit crab died

Hello All, how long are hermit crabs suppose to live? I got one about 2 months ago. When I got it, it was all over the tank. It stirred up all the rubble and looked like it was doing a great job at cleaning up the tank. Now, it is in its upside down shell peeking out once in a awhile and hardly has any movement. I did just get a purple anemone and it disappeared (maybe died?) after moving about a bit. Could the hermit have eaten the anemone and got sick? I haven't seen the anemone for over a week.
