| I have new red ball sponge, and have been floating it in the bag for a couple hours. I have read that it is imperative not to expose them to air. How do I introduce the sponge into the tank without exposing it to air and without release all the water in the shipping bag into my tank? Any help appreciated. |

| Ok, I was able to drain most of the water out of the shipping bag while still leaving the sponge submerged. Then I dipped the bag just below the water surface, quickly removed the sponge from the bag underwater and lifted the bag out of the water. Minimum water from the bag was introduced to my tank. |
