 Sponge Growth rate? I have a red ball sponge and a white lightening sponge that are doing very well. I have had them for over 6 months, but haven't seen any significant growth. Anybody know anything about sponge growth? Are they just slow growers? Thanks for any info. -Jeremy  |

| Re: Sponge Growth rate? They might be slow growers as they are slowly dieing. Are you feeding them phytoplankton or green water? Cillia? copepods? Spot feeding with a turkey baster a slurry of clam shrimp mussel garlic and vitamins might help. What are the scientific names? Maybe do some research on them their habitat and food and reproductive cycles. Then there may not be much out there on that particular organism. But there should be some info on its general type.
