| They should be able to survive just fine without feeding the tank, however, I like to feed a fishless tank some food anyway so that the tank has more bacteria present. This way, when fish are added, the ammonia-nitrite-nitrate spikes will remain minimal.

| Thank you kindly ! They do seem to be happy, it just amazes me because I can't imagine what they are eating. I think I will take your advice on a little bit of tank feeding, need to get a good bacteria population going. |
