Default Emerald Crab

A friend of mine gave me one of his emerald crabs to put in my new tank,I have only one problem. I did not do proper research on emerald crabs before accepting it. I will b doing my research for the next hour or so on them, but I was wondering if any of you could give any advice on how you keep them in your tanks?

They are very simple to care for. Just dont even bother them, they will find their own food. They are also reef safe! They get up to about 2.5 inches or so. They also will be fine with any creature in your tank. They are good feeders to mantis shrimps as well.

I had a bad seed that attacked my star polyp and had to be given the boot. You might be ok with it, just keep an eye on him from time to time.

I've heard that they are great as long as they have enough to eat. My research said that they are opportunistic feeders and can eat sessile inverts and catch small fishes.

The fish would have to be pretty small! but they definately are opportunistic feeders.

I dont think so..I have 5 emerald crabs and they are awesome, they clean the algae off of everything, I have even seen them hold onto a rock and lean way back and pick algae off my glass. I love my emeralds, always working.
