Default snails or fish that eat brown alage.

i need some snails and afishes that will eat my brown alage off the glass and fake coral. i was thinking about a yellow tang but i do not know what snail eats brown alage and i only can get 5 snails. unless they are magraita snails i can get 10 of those.

well, a kole yellow eyed tang is too large for your tank, so i would stick with a yellow tang or the snails. cerith snails are good, also, you can get an urchin.

If its going to be a reef tank be careful with that urchin. Astrea and Turbos got me thru the Diatoms and then the green stuff. You can blow a lot of it off and clean it up yourself if you want. You might want to wait for a fish while this stage blows over and you get it cleaned up. Get your fish after the brown is gone and your water is cleaner. Just a little less stress on the critters! Good luck!

the urchin should be fine, just make sure you get a reef safe urchin like the pincushion or the black rock urchin or longspined, the list goed on and on. just dont get a pencil urchin.
