Default hermit tank

Im getting a mantis shrimp and its main diet will be hermit crabs. I want to keep them in a seperate tank. There isnt much algae growing on the few pieces of LR so what should I feed them so they dont die on me?

yea but it takes 3-4 months and yea he molted well but I thought his arms were already strong so i put some hermit crabs in and he hurt his arm trying to kill them cause they were still soft. And he had to rip his own arms off. I should have fed him soft food for at least a week after he molted. I didnt know that. it sux I feel bad cause its my fault.
