Default Help...My snails are escaping

okay....this is gonna sound really dumb....my snails are crawling out of my tank. I am putting them back towards the bottom as I see them towards the top of the glass. Am I the only one that has strange snails?

They won't get out. They just live life on the edge of danger.

That's the only place in my aquarium my snails stay...it seems that that is where the salt line is from the water level, that is in my tank, and maybe they like that?

My snails are up close to my water line too, as is my blue linkia starfish. They like this, most likely because it reminds them of a water pool when the tide goes out in the wild. And there will be these little pools off water with snails, and other things in them. This is perfectly normal.

Connie,
If your snails are trying escape you need to get the little invisible fence for the top of the tank. It works similar to the 1 for dogs, you put a little collar on the snails & the fence is set up at the top of the tank & near your overflow if you have one. I got one last year & haven't had the problem any more.

I had a real tough time with mine - had sent them out to obedience school - that didn't work. Tried getting some leashes but the fish kept geting stuck in them. Finally found the invisible fence & now I rest peacefully!!!
