Default sea urchin help

Hi, I was wondering if you could put a pincushion sea urchin in a refugium(would it get enough food?).. I do not know much about them so i would appreciate it if you shared your knowledge with me.

thankks,
Dan

Black long spined urchine, also known as the blue eyed urchin. I would wait until he has some food to eat

People also have to go to the hospital for eating a peanut. If your allergic it could be bad. I can also tell you first hand that New Mexico scorpions and black widows are also not deadly...

dont put your urchin in your fuge!

the whole point of a fuge is to have a place where the algae can grow and the pods can grow in the algae, and the entire circle in that fige will help get the nitrates and stuff out of the water. if the urchin comes in and eats all the algae, what is the point of a fuge?

Thats probally why I have never heard of it. I have heard of putting critters in your refugium to help "control" the algea. Besides urchines get really big really quick.

No all my crabs do that. I just never clean the back glass or powerheads. My urchin stays busy with them.
