i had a leak and had to change tanks and found a crab i didn't know was there its purple like the Coraline algae but the shape of a porcelain crab i have 2 of those they are pink it was on my rock i would like to know what it is..any ideas

found it a week ago never seen it before even when i went mantis hunting 5 months ago to many hermits disappearing ..traps didn't work snails and hermits kept getting in them... but when i had to drain tank because of leak... i seen it was 1/2 inch in size went in a hole in live rock Tampa bay this is all i have in tank..claw and shape real similar to porcelain crab {i have 2 of these in tank}but it was purple if it hadn't moved i never would have seen it color of coralline algae no picture yet trying to get some tho nothing has disappeared since catching 2 mantis shrimp so i guess it is OK ...is there a good directory w/picture to look threw if so please let me know ..thanks i know its hard to tell me what it is without picts will get some as soon as possible

I just found 5 of the same kind of crabs in my tank tonight after having it for over a month. They are really quick and hate light. As soon as I can spot them they are in a rock or in a sand cave. They do blend in great and I have a picture if I can figure out how to post it. Also this things are behind digging huge holes in my deep sand bed, I always thought it was my urchin, but I caught these guys tonight doing it. Thanks
