Default My sand sifter looks like it blew up

Does anyone know what could have caused this to happen to my sand sifter. I have had her for about 6 months. She seemed to be acting a little strange the past two weeks. She was still moving around the tank but not burrying her self as deep as usual or at all. On Friday night when I went to bed she was fine, I woke up to here looking like something had blown her up. I got as good a picture as I could.

My crabs were eaten by an evil Mantis shrimp. I eliminated the mantis shrimp from the tank prior this happening. I have two fire shrimp, one cleaner shrimp, clam, hermit crabs, snales....
