Default white stripes on longspine black urchin

Hey guys does anyone know why my longspine black urchin has developed white stripes on his spines? he has been doing really good, moving alot and eating like crazy Im hoping its a growth spurt or something. I have had him in my tank for a few months now heis with a long tentacle, a pincushon urchin, a black lion, and a snowflake eel o ya 1 chocolate chip star in a 55 gal water params are good. I noticed one at one of my lfs and some of its spines are all white.

Yea, I posted this question on a different thread and have an answer.

Its due to rapid growth. I have the same thing on mine. Its completely fine. We have the exact same urchin. Its just new growth.
