They feed off the algae, etc. in the tank. If non available, you can feed them nori. Just rubberband it to a rock and put in the bottom of the tank.

I use green algae sheets once a week. It's found at Petsmart. But that is really just for the snails, the shrimp are scavengers, but I do occasionally target feed them something meaty.

Cleaning crew will eat poop and other wastes in the tank, left over food etc.

The snails will enjoy the nori off the clip as well.
