Icon14 Horseshoe crab, stars, what are your thoughts?

What if a Horseshoe crab is spot fed? With say...shrimp in it's path below the sand

Do you all still not suggest him for a.. fairly new tank?

I need a sand sifter, my snails and hermits (I know hermits do not specialize in brown diatoms) but my snails are NOT keeping up with my sand, it is brown on a daily basis, I would kind of like a solution to keep my sand stirred, and nice and white...

Do you suggest sand sifting stars? What else is out there besides these two??

Any and all suggestions accepted..consider this the suggestion box

I have a sandsifting star and he keeps the sand real clean in my tank. Mickey!

Ok next question..

Will my CBS or Coral Banded Shrimp bug the star?
How about these two..

Wait this will be easier, here is a list of my tank mates...will this be ok?

Coco Feather
Niger Trigger (Tiny guy, about a little over inch)--to be purchased on Friday, if I think is ok for my tank, same as below. The poor two guys have been left there for awhile, and they are the best of buddies!!
Picasso Trigger (Same size as Niger Trigger)
11 Tiny Hermits
4 decent size snails
Coral Banded Shrimp, (Body about 2 inches)
Very very small blue/green Chromis, in which I will be taking to lfs.

I would like to add a Sand sifting star to this..

Let me know please.
