Default sick cleaner shrimp

i have tow good sized cleaner shrimp and i have had then since there were less than an inch big and now there almost two but i noticed this morning that one of there dosent seem to move any where like hes having a really bad stomach ache or somthing hes not dead or anything but he dosent move and looks under the weather but he tried to move when i fed them this morning but didnt go anywhere fast and all my other shrimp are perfect wat do u think is wrong with him?

parameters are all in check nitrates could be at like 10 but everything is in check and i was thinking it could be ready to molt but iver never seen them look so bad before and all the other shrimp are just fine to i noticed though that he has a little black spot on the side of his tail is, the part right behind his leg something i havent noticed before.

Question I would have is have you either tested iodine or dosed iodine? Molting creature do require Iodine to be able to molt properly, granted you should be at the right levels if you do regular water changes etc, but that would be something to check. I don't test regularly but I do add randomly iodine for my shrimp, I usually add if I haven't had a shrimp molt in 2 weeks, then I just add a small splash and then within the next 2 weeks usually they will molt. Not a guaranteed method but seems to work for me.

my cleaner hides in the top right of the tank behind the powerhead and tucked in on the top of the heater and the filter valve.. is 26c and correct tank overtern ph.. think he just likes playing god up there..i dunno

I do not dose iodine and I have molts every 2 weeks. Your salt mix will probably have just enough trace iodine to keep everything as it should be.

well he died the other day, mine also molt every 2 weeks maybe something happend over night that i didnt see but everything and everyone else is just fine!
