| i got a used tank with all the live stock and equipment. it has soft corals, bubble coral, mushrooms and gorgonias. they all seem to be ok but last night i was looking at the tank and there are hundreds of white snails in the glass. i think they are pyram snails. do they eat softies or lps? |

| I've never heard of any pyramid snail attaching any other coral besides clams. There are actually a few different species of pyramid snails. One species attacks clams and won't survive and multiply without a clam in the tank. Other species are known to attack other species of snails. And then there are also other species that haven't been known to cause any harm, besides for visual appearance.
