| The polyp heads make it look like a species of Xenia. I'm not sure on what type yet because I can't find an exact match to your picture with the long stalks.

| I wanna say kenya tree coral but the thin stacks are not common for kenya tree, it also reminds me a gorgaina but ive always been told they dont last long in captiviy cold be a mix |

| someone in this forum has one in there tank, if I remember right it was a 55g reef thread. as for looking for it I looked at every thing coral wise and come op with nothing. As for it being a kenya coral tree thats a no, its nothing like it, I have lots of them..And as for gorgainas, they hate lighting and love water movement. I will keep looking around here, Thanks for the help guys I appreciate it! |

| Looks like some sort of sea rod to me. Google Knobby Sea Rods and see if you find a match. |

| Does it possibly look like capnella? Green Tree, Nepthea sp., (premium aquatics) I did a google search. Hey Brian- is that a gonipora you have? I think it is like the 10th picture, green? I have similar- but my is mauve/pink, and the buds are purple/tinit of blue/green. Your tank is BEAUTIFUL! ![]()

| Hi all Just letting you all know I'm back and sharing info and pictures.. I will be posting updated pictures hopefully this weekend. |

| The coral is a type of gorgonia. It is photosinthetic type of gorgonia and lives well in reef tanks. I have one the same color and form. They are capable of taking different forms deppending on water flow and light. You can frag them and see the "gorgonin" inside that looks like a twig. They are called sea plumes and are from the caribbean.
