5-30: Ok here are some more updates, and manage to get some work done after coming home. sod was removed all along the wall. using 2x4 w/3" wood screws to support the outer wall and 2x6 for inner. This was much better to support than the regular stakes sold at HD, also foam expansion joint boards will be used along the back wall and step. next brick will be spreaded out evenly at the bottom to raise wire mesh up in place than rebar will be place above the mesh which will be tied together to make it more durable since generator and chiller will add about 1500 lbs. slope is from back to front making sure so no puddles are visible and of course mosquito heaven too. slab area is 12'L x 38"W and approximately 6"-7" of concrete will be poured using concrete mixer which holds about 5 80lbs bag.

All I need to know is, when is the field trip to see this bad boy in person. Sign me up. Someday when time is easier to come by I may attempt a project this bold. For the time being I will admire your work and respect your dedication to it.

GOOD LORD!!!!!!! dude...you must of gotten an A++++++++ in woodshop and have quite a bit of extra time on your hands. my god, now that's what i call a setup. you should be working for SEAWORLD. that must of costed a fortune to build and you havent even added anything into the tank. where the heck do you live, cuz if its nearby royal oak, michigan, i am coming over for the reveal party, i expect a front row seat. i promise not to tap on the glass!!!!!! here fishy fishy.

ok...let me try to comprehend this. You are a plumber, pipe fitter, carpenter, architect, Dry wall guy, and what else? For the love of God man!!!! Seriously though, can't wait to see the finished product. Good luck.

Think about how much heat that bad boy must put off. He would need an A/C for the chiller if it was inside.

their setup which is 15,000gal pool is totally awesome and had to take a few photos of course. i have never seen a massive-fractionator (210 gal skimmer) before in my life which also had self cleaning capabilities  simply amazing just speechless and a trip to remember

i have a question about this outside tank. dont know if anyone ever asked it but...i dont get it. why put it outside?? do u spend all your time outside? i dont see a deck or patio around it to sit and look at it. seems like the only one that will be enjoying it are the crickets, mosquitos and birds. i like the concept though.

So these are pictures of the live rock and live sand that you received, plus where you purchased them from? Or is that a picture of your friends tank? Either way...WOW!!! I can't wait to see what is next.
