First drops of water went into the tank th 24th of January, so it's been just about 5 months. The Vlamingi is about 5". I don't think that he has grown much since I got him.
The Yellow Belly Hippo has done great and gets along with the sole surviving Blue Hippo.

WOW!!! That's nice! I love the tang population. What's the estimated count of tangs and all fish. I love the clams too! You need to show us where you sit to casually watch your tank. Although, with so much going on, it's probably hard to just sit and watch. ;-)

At last count, there were 29 tangs, not sure on the total count of fish, but that is on the "to do" list for today. This is the first tank that I have successfully been able to keep clams. Best place to watch the is right next to it. I had the stand built at 42" so viewing is at a good level.

42"? Perfect! I spend so much time watching my tank on a 32" stand, my back hurts (and I'm just 5'7") lol.

Your tank is awesome! How do you get anything done? I would be sitting in front of the tank all day

I use a Nikon D40 for pictures. A lot of my work is done on the computer so I can always check in on the tanks via the web cams.
