With all of the Ricordeas, I decided to set up a tank for the rics. I had picked up a little cube tank that I am going to use for them.

I decided to try and build my own lighting for the tank. A decision I regretted several time while trying to build and put it all together. I bought an Ice Cap T5 retro fit kit and set out to build my own little canopy.

Having very little wood working and carpentry experience, it was a real challenge for me to figure all of this out.

After two days of struggling, and several trips to the hardware store. I finally got a rack built for the lights and hung above the tank. To my surprise, every thing seems to work...

Hey Goodwin you dont know me but i thought i would say nice Fricking tank brotha you truly have a reef addiction lol. I current have a 110 gallon tank packed full and ordered a 180 gallon last week so i can wait for it to come in and im in the midst of building an in wall tank off of my laundry room so im pretty pumped about that but besides that i just wanted to tell you that the Divers Den has a Gem Tang for sale $2400 and judgin from your setup im guessing you can most likely afford it and it would make a nice center piece for your tank although you already have tons of those lol cheers

Thank you! Congratulations on your new tank. It's hard to stop at just one....

I saw that Gem tang, but it would be the smallest tang in the tank and probably wouldn't last long. Too spendy for me.

The divers in Florida sent me some really nice large blood red bubble tip mushrooms to add to my collection of ricordeas.

Good stuff here! The substrate looks large in post #219, have you added some or changed it at all? May just be the difference in lighting from the other pics I guess.

The pictures of the ricordeas are coming from both the 75 & the cube which are tied together. The pictures in #219 are from the cube tank which has crushed coral, while the pictures with the gobies are take in the 75 gallon tank which has a much finer substrate.
